Warm temperatures continue, but clouds increase for the weekend - Alex

WHAT WE'RE TRACKING :

• Clouds increase tonight and Friday
• Weekend shower chances
• Warm temperatures continue through next week

PLANNING THE NE X T 24 HO URS: Skies will become mostly cloudy late tonight as the remains of Francine slowly move north. The clouds will help hold up overnight temperatures in the lower 60s. Cloudy skies will not hold back temperatures climbing into the lower 80s on Friday.

EXTENDED FORECA ST : We continue to track our conditional rain chance which will arrive by the weekend. Francine will move through the gulf coast states and then head north. We may see rain chances near the area as early as Saturday into Sunday if what is left of Francine can hold together. Right now, it looks like the greatest chance of precipitation and the overall track will stay to our south/southeast, and widespread heavy rainfall is not expected. It looks like late next week's weather system may hold off until 9 to 10 days out. The dry stretch will likely continue to expand across southern Wisconsin.
