Trent Beretta has broken his silence following his second neck surgery in three years.

The AEW star suffered another neck injury recently, hampering his rivalry with Orange Cassidy. The Don Callis Family member turned heel on his former friend but lost to him in his last match at Double or Nothing 2024.

He previously had neck fusion surgery in 2021. Trent Beretta had his neck fused and missed eight months of in-ring action. However, it looks like his latest injury won’t keep him out nearly as long if his latest social media post is to be believed.

Trent Beretta took the social media to announce that he had another neck surgery. He called it a “quick little American surgery”. The AEW star noted that two of the screws from his neck fusion broke, due to him wrestling “so hard”.

He ended by claiming he “will be doing revenge”. This is a clear warning to Orange Cassidy, who he attacked on AEW Dynamite to rekindle their rivalry.

“quick little american neck surgery. turns out I wrestled so hard that two of the screws from my neck fusion broke. very cool. very tough. screws have been replaced. next I will be doing revenge,” Trent Beretta said in a post.

Chuck Taylor: Trent Beretta Match Was The Best Way To Go Out

Trent Beretta may have been Chuck Taylor ‘s last opponent, but the AEW star couldn’t think of a better way to leave the wrestling business.

Chuck Taylor was a recent guest on AEW Close Up with Renee Paquette . When asked about his Parking Lot Brawl with Trent Beretta, which could possibly be the last match of his career, Taylor said he couldn’t ask for a better way to go out.

“Yeah, weirdly, if that is it, I mean, I couldn’t ask for a better way to go out, honestly,” Chuck Taylor admitted. “Creatively to break up with my best friend of — we’ve been together, I think, 11 years? To have Orange there and Statlander there and to have a match that we made at least popular and famous in AEW.

“I know there have been other parking lot fights in other places like that. We were kind of synonymous with that match. I think we did three. That was our third, and to be able to say shit on Dynamite that week and then get my dog on Collision. And then go out and you know, I mean, if you would have told me I would have been able to do that even like six years ago. I would’ve been like, no, absolutely not.”
