AN entrepreneur and content creator has shared how to make thousands of dollars each month off Airbnb rentals.

The side hustle requires no money to get started and doesn’t involve renting out units.

Alexis Sierrah ( @alexissierrah ) is a TikTok influencer who shares how she profits off Airbnbs with over 22,000 followers.

In a video from last summer, Alexis detailed how to make thousands by cleaning Airbnbs as a side hustle .

She explained that becoming a cleaner was “pretty simple” and that you just needed to download the Turno app .

Once you download the app, Alexis noted you need to apply to become a cleaner.

This involves taking and passing a quiz and then scheduling a hiring call.

During the call, prospective cleaners are taught how to use the Turno app and bid for cleaning jobs.

“Once you take that call, you’ll be able to clean,” she said.

Alexis clarified that to secure a job, cleaners must bid on cleaning jobs and set prices.

If a homeowner selects you to clean their property and likes how you completed the job, they can recruit you as part of their cleaning staff.

“You have certain clients that you’re constantly going to all month long,” she said.

Alexis pointed out that those interested in becoming cleaners for Airbnb don’t need any money to get started.

She said that some Airbnb units will have cleaning products available, but you could also purchase your own.

“If you want to go buy cleaning products to also have then it’s very little to nothing to get started and you could be making thousands of dollars every month just by cleaning Airbnbs,” she said.

MAKING BANK

Another TikToker shared how he makes $500 daily with his mailbox side hustle .

The entrepreneur explained that you only need $60 and a few tools to get started.

He suggested heading to Lowe’s and buying a quart of white paint for $15, paint brushes for $5, five bags of mulch for $15, a can of spray paint for $10, and a screwdriver for $10.

Side hustles and tax implications

The extra income made from side hustles may need to be reported to the IRS.

If you receive more than $600 in gross payouts from a selling platform like eBay, the site will issue you a Form 1099-K to use in your tax return.

Individuals should calculate their adjusted gross income, taxable earnings, and deductions for the year.

Once they have that, they can use the 1040-ES form to calculate estimated taxes.

“Bam, there’s the $60 that you’re going to start making your money with,” he said.

The TikToker said to charge $200 for the first job and $150 for the rest.

He advised first removing the numbers from the mailbox with the screwdriver before painting the mailbox and frame white.

While they are drying, he suggested spray painting the numbers.

Then, pull out any weeds around the mailbox and put down some mulch.

Finish up the mailbox job by screwing the numbers back in.

“Starting off, you might be a little slow, but once you get the hang of it, 45 minutes to an hour, and bam, you’re knocking jobs out!” he said.
