Arise Artists Expands Talent Division With 2 Agent Hires

EXCLUSIVE: Arise Artists Agency is bolstering its Talent division with the hires of agents Matt Jackson and John Alcaraz.

Jackson joins from MSA Agency, where, as Vice President of the West Coast Theatrical division, he successfully launched the agency into the TV and film arena for actors. He brings over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry, along with a notable client roster that includes Debbie Gibson, Jonah Wharton ( Lioness ), Jazlyn Martin ( Bel Air ), Ricco Ross ( Beauty in Black) , and more.

Alcaraz was most recently a manager at Vision Entertainment and Co-Head of the Talent Department. A Syracuse University graduate, he began his career at CAA and then transitioned to management at Untitled Entertainment. Paola Nunez ( Bad Boys 3 & 4, Resident Evil ), Kristian Ventura ( School Spirits) , Sydney Mitchell ( BMF ), and Jason Canela ( Palm Royale ) are among clients who will be following him to Arise.

Jackson and Alcaraz will join talent agents Matt Fletcher and Katie McGrath, who started the Talent Division at Arise shortly after Brian Cho opened the agency in March. They will also join the Endorsement and Voiceover Divisions, which are headed by Ashley Partington and Abbie Waters, respectively.
