‘RHONJ’ Star Teresa Giudice Cries To Kelly Ripa About Her Relationship With Her Brother: “We Always Got Along… Until The Show”

It’s no secret that Teresa GIudice has been feuding with her brother, Joe Gorga , and her sister-in-law and fellow Real Housewives of New Jersey co-star Melissa Gorga . But Giudice recently opened up about where they all stand, claiming there were some things she could not forgive and forget.

During Giudice’s recent appearance on Kelly Ripa ‘s Sirius XM podcast Let’s Talk Off Camera , Ripa asked the Bravo star if fans should ever expect to see her with Melissa and Joe on the show again.

“Never again. Never Again. First of all, to me, family is so sacred. I’m all about — you’re Italian, Kelly,” Giudice replied. “I’m all about The Godfather movie. You never go against the family. I live by that. I stand by that. I’m a loyal person.”

Ripa appeared to agree, adding, “I feel like if somebody betrays your trust, you can forgive them and you can get past it, but you always know in the back of your head, this is a person that could betray my trust.”

Giudice became emotional as she explained that she chose to forgive them after that explosive fight at her nephew’s christening because she didn’t want to “hurt” her parents.

“My parents were so upset. They’re like, ‘What?'” she recalled through tears. “Me and my brother were best friends. We always got along. We never fought. We were really best friends until this happened. Until the show.”

But the RHONJ star called the feud “disgraceful,” noting that she tries to ensure her daughters’ bond with each other doesn’t turn out the same way theirs did.

“It was like a little jealousy about that I was on the show and they weren’t, and it’s like, ‘This is my thing.’ You know, it’s like it would’ve been so beautiful for us to be a united front and to show America, and to show the world that instead of fighting,” she said.

Before Season 14 premiered this year, Melissa spoke on their “unfortunate” estrangement, noting that there would be no more high-stakes drama between them.

“The biggest misconception is that it’s gonna be more drama between me and my sister-in-law, we don’t even, like, look at each other,” she told Entertainment Tonight .

She claimed this was their “new normal.”

“I always say it’s unfortunate. I’ll never be, like, happy about that. But we’re all living, and we’re happy, and sometimes things just need to take its course. Right now that’s definitely how it is,” she said.
