As we go through life, we form various friendships. If you're lucky, you find one that's extra special—that person who always gets you without ever needing to say a word.
This horse and GSP are the perfect examples of pals on the same wavelength. Their commitment to each other's happiness is just as uplifting for us.

This is absolutely precious! Nova (@ rileyandnova ), the German Shorthaired Pointer , and her horse friend Athena have an extraordinary bond. Athena enjoys using her sizable tongue to give massages, and Nova is happy to accept them. These back scratches have her wiggling and dancing with joy. And her beautiful face is full of bliss as her muscles are gently massaged. Who doesn't like to have a relaxing spa day? With this treatment, it's like having a bath as well. It's a two-for-one deal for which Nova doesn't have to leave home. With the summer heat, it probably helps cool down a bit as well.

Do Dogs Regularly Form Friendships With Horses?
Although not every dog is suited to be friends with a horse , those that do tend to develop strong bonds. Both horses and dogs are social animals, so it's not uncommon for them to form friendships with other species, such as humans. And they each benefit from the companionship. This camaraderie is nothing new, as these beautiful creatures have worked together for centuries. Whether they assist their humans in hunting and herding or help police and military with search and rescue work, their ability to work together is unmatched.
Many wanted to know where they could sign up for treatments. Viewer @gsp_cricket responded, "Wow, Athena, you are a professional masseuse. I can see you know exactly the right areas to massage, and it looks like Nova is completely relaxed and enjoying this a lot. Where can I sign up for a massage? I definitely need to be relaxed for the weekend." It might be Nova you'll need to get permission from. Viewer @lifeasfergus inquired, "Do you think masseuse Athena could do some work on me?" It might be hard to book an appointment, as this popular horse has many requests. Viewer @jacksonandlana responded, "Love these two and the one they share. They always put a smile on my face and my heart." It's hard not to feel anything but good after seeing them together.
This charming duo perfectly represents true friendship. Everyone should be so lucky to find a bestie who always understands them and tries to make the other happy.
