There's nothing more adorable then when our pets need to show us something. Whether it's a toy or something they see outside or that their food bowl is empty (Okay, that one may not be that adorable) there's always something that's just so cute about our fur babies wanting us to see something they are proud of.

Case in point? This absolutely gorgeous Saint Beredoodle named Marley and her beloved piece of string cheese.

This cute video was shared by the TikTok account @Y ourfriendmarley_ and everyone agrees that Marley does need her cheese admired. One person said, "You gotta hype Miss Marley up and tell her how cool her cheese is!" Another added, "Aw my dog did this. We acted interested because she loved snatching it away like “You can’t have none!”. Someone else said, "I mean, what does Marley have to do to get noticed around here?!"

I just love how she has to show her cheese to everyone like Attention! Everyone! I have cheese! She's also such a good girl because my own dog would just inhale the cheese before anyone could even see what he's eating.

Eating cheese is pretty common for dogs and they even have their own theme song about it.

If the above video looks familiar and this is a common practice in your own home, you may be wondering exactly how healthy cheese is for dogs.

    Can Dogs Eat Cheese?

According to PetMD, Don’t worry— cheese is not toxic and is completely fine for most pups. However, some dogs can be lactose intolerant, meaning their body does not react well to dairy products.

But even if your dog isn’t lactose intolerant, it’s still a good idea to keep their cheese consumption to a minimum. Here’s everything you need to know if you let your dog eat cheese.

The best choices are Parmesan, Cheddar and Mozzarella, like in the cheese stick Marley above is enjoying.

Not so great cheeses for dogs include Feta, Brie, Provolone, Blue cheese, Goat cheese, Cream cheese and any cheese with herbs or spices.

You should also give your dog cheese based on how large they are, and a bigger dog can enjoy a larger portion of cheese compared to a smaller breed dog or a puppy. Lots of people do use cheese for dog training and pill hiding!

You should always consult with your veterinarian if your dog experiences any stomach or bathroom issues after eating cheese.
