Blake Berris Says Goodbye to DAYS

With Stephanie and Jada realizing that Bobby and Everett were still struggling to be the dominant personality it seemed like there was a lot of drama still to come on Days of Our Lives . Which is why it was so shocking when the soap suddenly killed Everett off in the Aug. 1 episode!

Blake Berris returned to DAYS in the new role of Stephanie’s ex, Everett Lynch , in October 2023, and it soon became clear that the guy was hiding something… something that turned out to be an alternate personality named Bobby Stein, who had been married to Jada! Unfortunately, Bobby’s involvement with the murderous Connie had some fatal consequences when she decided to silence him… forever!

“Rest in peace, Everett,” Berris posted to his Instagram stories over a shot of him and Abigail Klein (Stephanie) eating cake at a DAYS 58th anniversary party.

However, over a still of Abigail crying over a dying Everett, the actor wrote: “Au revoir for now. What a great ride. Love my fam at DAYS.”

Berris made his daytime debut back in 2006 when he joined the cast as Nick Fallon and earned a Daytime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Younger Actor in 2009. After his exit in 2009, Berris returned as the villain from 2012 until 2014 when Nick was killed in a whodunit murder mystery. Still, death is flexible in Salem, and the actor reprised the role for additional appearances in the DAYS holiday movie A Very Salem Christmas as well as appearances in 2021 and 2023.

It’s a shame to lose the talented actor once again, but who knows — maybe he can come back to DAYS as yet another character! (Or Everett could be brought back to life… like we said, death is flexible in that town!)
