(WWJ) -- Are you in the market for some Michigan property?

The Michigan Department of Natural Resources is beginning land auctions on 91 different properties on Friday, and the first parcels up for grabs are in Eaton and Livingston counties.

The DNR’s Michael Michalek told WWJ’s Beth Fisher that all of the auctions are online, and you have to pre-register to bid.

As far as what’s up for grabs, Michalek says there are a variety of properties.

“[There’s] a few waterfront properties, we have lot of a lot of large-acreage properties, so think like 40-acre parcels or bigger. I believe we have over 30 of them,” Michalek said. “There’s quite a few properties that we have for auction in counties like Ogemaw County, Otsego County, we have quite a few properties in Cheboygan County.”

Starting next week, properties will be available in the Upper Peninsula and Northern Lower Peninsula, and the county auctions will run through the first week of September. The one-day auctions start at 10 a.m. and run through 7 p.m., and are hosted completely online.

More information and a full list of the properties for sale can be found here .
