The jury is still out on Jennifer Pedranti in my opinion. The mother of five is naive and still holding on tight to that silver spoon her ex-husband gave her. We are only two episodes into the Real Housewives of Orange County Season 18 and already, Jen is making me want to pull my hair out. She was squatting in a mini-mansion, 24k in debt, and thought it would be smart to move in with her fiancé, Ryan Boyajian . The pair seems like an unlikely couple, but in true Jen fashion, she is most likely making a very bad choice in life partners. But who is Ryan, and what does the man do for a living?

Ryan spoke with The Daily Dish about how he first met the blonde yogi. During Season 17, viewers learned that the two began dating back in 2020 while Jen was still very much a married woman. Both frequented Tamra Judge’s gym, Cut Fitness, but Ryan was known as a bit of a playboy around the weights. Ryan told the outlet that “Jenn and I, in the first maybe six months of me being at the gym, it went from ‘I don’t know her’ to ‘Hello,’ ‘Good morning,’ ‘Goodbye,’ to then we started to communicate.” While he admitted they had an emotional affair, he still states they never became physical.

    What is Ryan Boyajian’s job?

According to LinkedIn , Ryan is the Vice President of Operations at Boyajian Brokerage. As a graduate of Florida State University, he lives up to the party boy character. While at his brokerage, Ryan notes that he worked on behalf of his clients to increase the sales volumes. The OC resident helped “food and beverage manufacturers to expand and promote sales,” too. Ryan has worked with the likes of American Beverage Co, Asiago Porcini, Corto Olive Co, and Polly-O- Authentic Italian Cheeses.

Before essentially working for himself, he worked at Double Eagle Distrubuting Inc. for four years. He was an on-premise sales representative and actively managed 160 accounts for beverage distribution. The company claims it runs its business on the values of Anheuser-Busch codes of excellence: “Somebody still cares about quality” and “making friends is our business.” The only thing that seems to be missing is the famed Clydesdale horses. Before this, Ryan was a golf pro. Need I say more?

Jennifer doesn’t seem sold on Ryan’s lifestyle. During Episode 2, new housewife Katie Ginella asks the yogi what her boyfriend did for his line of work. Jen seemed torn on how to answer the softball of a question. But finally revealed, “Well, nothing now. He did mortgage for years and years, and then he’s done real estate development since then. But nothing, like, there’s no office. He just kind of, um … I feel like he just sits around and like plays in the sunshine. He kind of lives the dream life, I always tell him.”

Jen’s claim didn’t match Ryan’s resume. On his LinkedIn profile, there is no mention of Ryan working with mortgages. But recently, fans and Real Housewives of Orange County cast members got a behind-the-scenes peek at what Ryan has been up to. He found himself named in the MLB Shohei Ohtani gambling scandal. ESPN reported that the Los Angeles Dodgers’ interpreter, Ippei Mizuhara, allegedly wired money to Ryan to pay his gambling debts. The interpreter agreed to enter a guilty plea to the U.S. Attorney’s office on two federal charges related to the theft of nearly $17 million from the baseball player’s bank.

The outlet reported that Ryan would receive immunity for his testimony. His lawyer told the sports outlet, “Because there is an active investigation and Ryan is working with the authorities, he can’t confirm or deny what is going on. He is not a bookmaker or a sub-bookie.” Bravo fans are aware that cameras picked back up as the scandal broke to catch the fallout, and it was not good.

Even though Jennifer may be blind to love, Tamra has always been spot on. On her podcast, she notes, “When are you people going to start believing me? I was right about Brooks. I was right about this dude.”

TELL US — DO YOU THINK RYAN ACTUALLY WORKS FOR A LIVING? OR IS HE LEADING JEN ON?
