OKMULGEE COUNTY, Okla. ( KFOR ) — An Oklahoma man was allegedly kidnapped, tied up with duct-tape and forced to jump off a bridge.

It was a do-or-die situation for Braiden Marsh when he was allegedly abducted and forced to jump off a bridge back on June 24.

“I was like, ‘I’ll just let you shoot me. I’m not going to do what you want to, I’m sorry,'” said Marsh.

Marsh says he had been hanging out with friends Sean Lunney, Jaysen Lawson and Brianna Nohmer, when things took a sinister turn.

“Normal day, they’re like, ‘hey, let’s go to the lake’ so I was like, ‘sure,'” said Marsh.

Marsh said he along with Lunney and Lawson were headed to the lake when the truck came to a stop at the River Bridge on Highway 56 in Okmulgee County.

“Sean walks out because he was the driver, he walks out and says hey I need to fix one of the canoes,” said Marsh. “He gets out, he goes to my door, points a gun. He is like ‘hey you’re going to jump or I’m going to shoot you’,” said Marsh.

Marsh stated he refused to jump, so that’s when Lunney allegedly hit him in the face with the gun and proceeded to throw him off the bridge while Lawson acted as a lookout.

“I just looked him straight in the eye, see if they’re actually going to do it or not. His hands were shaking, so I knew the intent of the gun wasn’t to be shot. It was to intimidate,” said Marsh.

According to court documents, when it was determined that Marsh did not die, Lunney then taped his mouth, hands, and feet and forced him back into the truck.

The men then allegedly drove to the Deep Fork River Bridge.

“They both throw me out. I had to break out of the restraints, because I was restrained in the water,” said Marsh.

Marsh said once he was able to break free, he hid in the woods where he could see Lunney and Lawson waiting and looking to see if he was still alive.

“My body, it was hurting. I dragged myself up to the road and I was kind of waving for people,” said Marsh.

Help eventually arrived and Marsh was taken to the hospital where he had to have a chest tube for five days.

“Hospital explained 30% of my right lung collapsed. What happened was a 20-foot drop from both punctured it,” said Marsh.

Police arrested Lunney the same day.

Lawson and Nohmer were arrested after police tracked down the gun they allegedly used.

Now left with rope and drag burns as a painful reminder, Marsh said he’s waiting to figure out why him.

“I really want to know the purpose of it, why they did it, the clarification behind it,” said Marsh.

It is still unclear how Nohmer was involved.

All three have been charged with kidnapping.

Lunney was also charged with aggravated assault and battery and a felony firearm charge.

Lawson was also charged with assault and battery with a deadly weapon, attempted first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit to a felony.

Nohmer faces an additional charge of assault with intent to kill.

News 4 tried to talk to the Okmulgee County Sheriff’s Office several times.

They told News 4 to look for updates on social media.
