If you're the kind of person who can't help but squeal every time they see a puppy, we would definitely get along. As much as I love dogs of all ages, sizes, and breeds, there's something really special about getting to see a puppy, a tiny, cute version of the bigger dog they will eventually become. They're just learning how to operate in the world, meeting new dogs, seeing new places, discovering new favorite places to cuddle up and nap. All of them are worth at least a little squeal when you meet them!
And I guess it's not just humans who feel this way, because in this video, there's a fully grown dog who's experiencing just as much excitement himself when he meets his new sister, who also happens to be the tiniest, cutest girl. Who wouldn't have a reaction like this to a puppy this adorable?!
The humans who belong to this sweet Bulldog pup named Gus ( @gus.the.friendly.bulldog ) caught the moment that he met his sister, a Bulldog puppy named Lucie, for the very first time. As soon as he walked into the room and noticed that new crate, he knew exactly what was up. Listen to all those excited little toe taps!
He immediately started whining at her from across the room, which I'm pretty sure is the dog version of squealing, before going right up against her crate and doing even more whining and huffing. He was ready to meet his new sister now .
Even though Gus was just happy to see her, having the little one in a crate like this is a great way to introduce a dog to a new puppy. That way, they each have their own space, and puppy can feel secure while getting used to the big dog, which can be a little scary for some little ones!

We didn't get to see these two in action outside of the crate in this video, but the other videos on their TikTok account more than make up for it!
There is so much cute puppy footage to be found here, including from those early days when these siblings were still getting to know each other. In this one , Gus is sharing his toys with Lucie, and they sniffed each other's noses so sweetly. Of course it was love at first sight!
And while Lucie was still potty training and confined to a fenced in area , Gus laid just outside the doggie gate so he could be near her.
"Gus is the best big brother to our Lucie girl. He is so patient and watches over her," their mom wrote.
