As the Paris Olympics commenced in July 2024, a photograph of Bill Gates seemingly in attendance went viral on Reddit. Commenters noted that the billionaire and Microsoft co-founder looked considerably older and wondered if it was an edited picture.
The top comment on the post stated , "I guess I haven't seen any recent pictures of him because he looks about 30 years older than I picture him when I hear his name."

The above photograph is indeed an authentic picture of Gates, albeit a zoomed-in version of the original. Gates was photographed on July 28, 2024, watching a tennis match at the Olympics. As such, we rate this claim as "True."
The photograph is available on Getty Images . The caption stated: "Bill Gates is seen in the stands during the Men's Singles First Round match between Alexander Zverev of Germany and Jaume Munar of Spain on day two of the Olympic Games Paris 2024 at Roland Garros on July 28, 2024 in Paris, France." He was also photographed at a slightly different angle as seen here .
