With training camp here for the Las Vegas Raiders, who are down in Southern California , it's that time of year when we get a ton of reports and videos of things that happened in practice, and blow it out of proportion.

That's just the human element in training camp. So, when we say that D.J. Glaze was holding his own against Maxx Crosby at practice one day, well, he was, it just blew up bigger than it should have.

The Raiders rookie class has something to them. Of course, there is Brock Bowers, who may be the greatest college football tight end ever. He has been stellar as we all predicted. Jackson Powers-Johnson has yet to play in training camp yet to an injury, and DJ Glaze has been good on the offensive line.

Then Richardson, Eichenberg, Laube, Taylor, and Devonshire have all shown flashes as well, especially Laube, who is fighting for the third down-back spot. The rookies have been great, and much better than maybe some national media people who we won't mention, thought they would be.

With Glaze, he did hold his own against Crosby on Thursday. But, it wasn't anything crazy, he just didn't get killed like most rookies would. Glaze was filling in for some players who were dealing with injuries and needed a break, and he stepped up to the plate when he needed to most. You have to commend him for that.

But, Crosby heard everyone talking about it, including the media, and somehow it was blown up far more than it should have been, because, let me tell you -- Maxx Crosby was pissed off.

During practice on Friday, the same situation happened. Crosby sacked Glaze twice, and afterward, he yelled at the media tent letting them know what had just transpired.

That's Maxx Crosby, who's just a different animal when it comes to flipping a switch on and off. He showed the rookie why, too.
