General Hospital (GH) fans are buzzing about a major accident at the Metro Court pool, teased in the latest weekly promo. While there's no confirmation on who the victim is, clues suggest the accident could have dramatic repercussions for Port Charles.

Kristina’s Life in Peril?

The fact that Wiley's birthday celebration was recently held at the pool should be noted first, as it appears to have alarmed many viewers about potential dangers. But, since the pool party ended and a new day in Port Charles began on the August 1 episode, it will not be related to this accident.

Put another way, since every single one of those kids has left for home, any mishap would require them to visit the pool again the following day. Given that the majority of the children on GH appear to practically live at the pool, that is, of course, entirely possible!

Nevertheless, an adult could have an accident just as frequently. Perhaps viewers should not become overly alarmed by the idea of a drowning child because Ned slipped and fell in the pool back when the show ran the "Eddie Maine" plot.

Could the August 1 preview video, in which Blaze, aka Allie, is seen conversing with Natalia poolside, be a hint? Imagine if Kristina ends up falling when she goes to the pool to meet Blaze. It is conceivable that Kristina could trip and fall by herself or that she might trip and fall when fighting with someone.

Corinthos Family on Edge

In either case, Josslyn might need to come to Kristina's aid after she suffers a head injury. TJ would definitely be scared of an accident involving Kristina, especially since she is carrying the child she is supposed to give to him along with Molly. Similarly, the medical emergency that could jeopardize Kristina's life and the baby's would be devastating to her family.

Though it is difficult to ignore the evidence of a very pregnant Kristina when the stakes are so high, there is still a chance that someone else, like Donna or Avery, could be the victim instead. In any case, the mishap will probably involve the Corinthos family and might be the catalyst for Sonny's demise!
