Storms for some late Friday, dry pattern returns this weekend

A few storms are moving through Central Indiana Friday evening. The showers are moving in conjunction with an area of low-pressure sitting right over the IN/OH border. Gusty winds up to 40-50 MPH, downpours along with thunder and lightning are possible under any storm. Luckily because these are fast-moving , flash flooding is much less of a concern compared to the storms that moved through here Thursday night.
Foggy nights/mornings with a dry stretch
Just like last night, we’ll have more dense fog around overnight and early Saturday morning. Thanks to the clearing skies, moderate humidity and moisture-filled grounds this will be the story also late Saturday and early Sunday morning. Then, get ready for an extended sunny, hot and moderately humid stretch of weather!
Sunshine Forecast Per Day
High pressure slides in and gives Central Indiana daily sunshine coverage. We’ll be slightly above normal this weekend and for the first half of the next work week. Highs will approach 90° Monday and Tuesday before a pattern shift takes place. Midweek the rain chances do exist but they are very low at this time. Held off putting those on the 7-Day Forecast for now but have the sunscreen handy for the next few days! It will be needed along with the sunglasses.
