Georgia football ’s 2025 recruiting haul on the offensive line continues to be built with in-state prospects.

The latest came Friday night, when Westlake four-star Juan Gaston Jr. announced his committment to the Bulldogs.

The 6-foot-7, 345-pound Gaston is ranked as the nation’s No. 16 offensive tackle and the No. 164 overall prospect by the 247Sports Composite. His announcement was livestreamed by Atlanta's 11Alive.

"My heart just led me to the right place," Gaston said. "I felt like I would be great there. I had a great bond with the team, the players and the coaches."

Gaston is the fourth offensive line commitment in the 2025 class for coach Kirby Smart and offensive line coach Stacy Searels, joining Parkview’s Cortez Smith, Evans’ Mason Short and Langston Hughes’ Dontrell Glover. Smith and Gaston are ranked the No. 2 and 3 offensive line prospects in the state.

Gaston listed Oregon, Tennessee and South Carolina as his other finalists. He shed shirts of each team starting with Georgia and then put on an Oregon hat before finally putting on a Georgia cap.

“Juan’s ability to bend is top tier”, Westlake coach Morris Mitchell told Dawgpost. “I’ve never seen a kid that big be able to bend as well as he does. ... He’s the total package. He hasn’t given up a sack in the last two years. He likes to down-block. He likes to pin guys down. He has all the tools, but he has to keep developing. He’s a gentle giant but he has to keep turning up the knob.”
