Observations from the Jets’ training camp practice on Friday.

    Wide awake

Garrett Wilson broke free of the defense during a late-game drill to get open for a touchdown throw from Aaron Rodgers.

    Thrown off

Adrian Martinez, who is fighting for a third-string quarterback role, had a couple of badly missed throws, one of which was intercepted.

Later, he threw one behind a receiver in the end zone.

The snaps from Joe Tippmann and Brady Latham looked subpar for much of the day, particularly during positional work when both repeatedly snapped it high.

Tippmann, however, seemed to settle down by the time he was snapping to Rodgers during team drills.

    Rodgers report

Rodgers was dealing Friday, particularly during the red-zone period when he hit perfectly-placed throws to Wilson, Breece Hall and Tyler Conklin for a trio of touchdowns.

When Wilson took advantage of the coverage bust later, Rodgers threw for a fourth touchdown.

    Injury report

Allen Lazard returned to practice after sitting on Wednesday.

Sauce Gardner (personal) was out, as were Michael Carter II (ankle) and Xavier Gipson (lower extremity), while Takk McKinley worked off to the side with a trainer.

Morgan Moses participated in team drills to give the Jets a full offensive line for the first time in camp.
