Ex Jeopardy! host Mayim Bialik chances of returning seem slim as she's wiped from show's website

Jeopardy! seems not to have any plans of bringing ex-game show host Mayim Bialik back anytime in the future.

While Mayim’s, 49, stint heading Jeopardy! was short, co-hosting with Ken Jennings , 50, from 2022 to 2023, it was memorable. Those memories are beginning to be deleted from the Jeopardy! website. As of now, the Big Bang Theory alum’s bio page has been removed from the game show’s website.

Although it’s clear each Jeopardy! episode that Ken is the sole host, Mayim’s bio page being deleted solidifies the permanency of her ousting.

Despite Mayim being fired in December 2023, making Ken the only host, her bio was still next to his on the official Jeopardy! website until Friday. Now she and Ken’s smiley photos are no longer beside each other, but instead, it’s only Ken.

In the updated About The Show page only Ken’s bio is there. Even if there’s an attempt to search for Mayim’s bio on the website, it results in nothing but a dead-end “404” link. Host bios were always beneficial for Jeopardy! fans, because it allowed them to learn about the faces of the game show as it listed their personal accomplishments and family info.

Not only was Mayim’s hosting bio seemingly deleted from the page, but so were many of the articles that fell under her name when searched on the website. Only three articles that pertain to Mayim are on the website as of now. It’s uncertain whether or not the additional articles were also taken down like her bio was.

With the way that her presence is slowly being scrubbed off of the Jeopardy! website it appears that there is little to zero chance of her ever being invited back to host.

The same month that Mayim was fired she took to Instagram to share the news with her countless fans.

“As the Holiday break begins in Hollywood, I have some Jeopardy! news. Sony has informed me that I will no longer be hosting the syndicated version of Jeopardy!,” the actress wrote. “I am incredibly honored to have been nominated for a primetime Emmy for hosting this year and am deeply grateful for the opportunity to have been part of the Jeopardy! Family."

Although some speculated that Mayim’s firing had to do with the self-proclaimed “liberal Zionists” controversial comments about the Israel-Hamas war, Jeopardy! Executive Producer Michael Davies revealed it was for a reason much simpler than that.

"Over the past two-and-a-half seasons, what we’ve heard from a lot of television stations and other interested parties is that they wanted more consistency,” Michael said during the 2024 Television Critics Association's winter press tour, per People. “They wanted a single host.”
