Sha'Carri Richardson is making her highly anticipated Olympic debut at the 2024 Paris Games.

The Team USA star is one of the fastest women in the world, but she was unable to put her speed on display at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics because of controversy over a positive test for marijuana ahead of the event.

Richardson has only reaffirmed her standing as an all-time great sprinter since then, winning gold for the 100m dash at the 2023 World Championships in Budapest. She was also a part of the U.S. women's team that won gold in the 4x100m relay.

On Saturday, Richardson will have an opportunity to prove herself on the Olympic stage when she competes in the 100m dash.

How old is the U.S. Olympian and where does her age rank among past 100m dash gold medalists? The Sporting News has you covered below.
