The final week of the Paris Games begins with what could be a historic Monday evening on the track for Team GB . The highlight is Keely Hodgkinson's bid to win gold in the women's 800m final , and fellow British star Jemma Reekie will hope to join her on the podium, with USA's Athing Mu the big threat.

There is also Daryll Neita, fresh from a narrow fourth in the women's 100m final, bidding to make the 200m final along with Dina Asher-Smith, while Joe Clarke, Kimberly Woods and Mallory Franklin will be looking to add multiple medals, hopefully at least one gold in the kayak cross events.

The day kicked off with the mixed triathlon relay, where Team GB followed up on Tokyo gold with Paris bronze after a photo finish . In the gymnastics, Simone Biles missed out on gold in both the beam and floor. Cycling gets underway this afternoon with the team and individual sprint races, with Emma Finucane, Sophie Capewell and Katy Marchant will involved.
