Hit Us With Your Best (Photo) Shot from Cobb County Parks

Thousands of people enjoy Cobb County parks each year, and there's rarely a group around without at least one camera. So why not enter some of those park photos in the 2024 Cobb County "Fun in the Park" photo contest?

The annual event is sponsored by Cobb County Parks and Recreation, and is free to enter for any photos taken within any county or city managed public park in Cobb County.

Categories in the 2024 Cobb Parks competition include Sports and Action, Nature and Wildlife, and General -- which includes any subject that depicts having fun in one of the many county and city parks in Cobb County. Not sure what to enter? You can check out the gallery of prior winners on the parks website.

Photos will be judged by the Cobb Photographic Society, one of the the area's most established camera clubs, and Cobb County PARKS. First, second, third place and honorable mentions will be awarded in each category, and winners will receive plaques recognizing their achievements.
