USA Basketball vs. Puerto Rico live updates: US cruising in second half

Puerto Rico's men's basketball team is 0-2 in the 2024 Summer Olympics after making their first appearance in 20 years. They famously defeated Team USA 92-73 in 2004, but have already been eliminated with a winless record in pool play ahead of their match on August 3. Under coach Nelson Colon, the team qualified with a 2-1 World Cup performance. They have never won an Olympic medal.

The USA men’s basketball team has been in tremendous form.
