    Another one.

Simone Biles is golden again, vaulting her way to the top of the podium in the vault finals. She grabs her seventh career Olympic title, her 10th overall medal, to tie the second most gold medals by an American female athlete. Brazil's Rebeca Andrade and USA's Jade Carey earned silver and bronze, respectively.

There were no questions about the winner once Biles stepped up to the runway. She performed her signature Yurchenko double pike, also known as the Biles II, for one of her best vaults ever in competition. Her Cheng was just as good, averaging out to what would easily be the best score of the competition, a 15.300.

While Andrade had submitted her intent to perform the triple-twisting Yurchenko, the Brazilian decided to play it safe. She pulled off two near-perfect vaults to earn a 14.966 and secure her silver medal.

Carey went up last, but the moment she landed, Bercy Arena knew the American would take the bronze. With only slight landing errors, Carey scored a 14.466 between her two vaults to earn the bronze, her sole individual medal from Paris, but redemption after missing the podium in Tokyo.

Carey's 2024 Olympics are now over, but Andrade and Biles will return Monday for beam and floor finals, what could be the final head-to-head competition for the friends and two of the greatest gymnasts to ever grace the Olympic floor.

Olympics gymnastics live results, highlights from women's vault finals

    All times Eastern.

11:20 a.m. – Biles, Andrade and Carey top the podium!

Here are the final results from the women's vault final in Paris:

    Place Gymnast Country Score
    1 Simone Biles USA 15.300
    2 Rebeca Andrade Brazil 14.966
    3 Jade Carey USA 14.466
4 An Chang Ok North Korea 14.216
    5 Valentina Georgieva Bulgaria 13.983
    6 Ellie Black Canada 13.933
7 Yeo Seojeong South Korea 13.416
    8 Shallon Olsen Canada 13.366

11:16 a.m. – Carey puts up the Cheng she needed to go for the podium. A low block and movement on the landing, but a good start for the American. While originally intending to do an Amanar for her second vault, she sticks to the DTY and has just a small hop on the landing. A smart decision, and it gets her a 14.466 and a bronze!

11:14 a.m. – Yeo falls to her hands and knees on her second vault. She's out of medal contention with a 13.416.

11:07 a.m. – Andrade plays it safe, doing her Cheng rather than the TTY. She doesn't quite stick it, stepping out for the salute. Her Amanar is just as excellent. It's not enough to pass Biles, but the Brazilian sits solidly in silver with a 14.966.

11:02 a.m. – Ellie Black, stick! The Canadian has a near-perfect start on vault but takes a good-sized step on her next attempt. She earns a 13.933.

10:53 a.m. – Simone Biles, the gymnast you are! She has just a hop on the Yurchenko double pike for her best showing in competition yet. It earns a 15.700. Her Cheng has an even smaller bounce out of the landing. Her score averages out to 15.300. That's going to be difficult for anyone to beat.

10:50 a.m. – Olsen puts up a score of 13.366 after falling to her knees on her second vault.

10:42 a.m. – Beautiful start for An! She sticks her first vault, the Yurchenko double full. She pikes down her second vault but still puts up a decent score. An average of 14.216 puts her ahead of Georgieva.

10:40 a.m. – Bulgaria's Georgieva is up first. Only a small hop on her second vault but otherwise a smooth landing. Her score averages out to 13.983.

    10:36 a.m. – Biles rolls out of the YDP, but don't worry, it's just a warm-up.

10:26 a.m. – Leo reveal for the Americans.

10:08 a.m. – With the men's floor final wrapping up, only 10 minutes remain until the women get underway in Paris.

9:35 a.m. – Prior to the Games, Andrade submitted the Triple-Twisting Yurchenko to potentially get it named after her. She didn't do the skill during warmups but could still go for it, knowing she'll need the extra difficulty to beat Biles. Andrade needs to land it successfully for it to become an eponymous skill.

9:10 a.m. – Here's the lineup for vault finals. Biles will vault fourth while Carey anchors the competition.
