Back in February, fans of The Voice watched as a new lineup of singers auditioned for a chance to compete on the show. Among them was Asher HaVon. Having spent a great deal of his life surrounded by music, the singer found himself being coached by Reba McEntire. Helping him perfect his performances and voice, HaVon went on to win season 25. And for McEntire, it solidified her first win as a coach. While sharing his music with fans since winning The Voice, HaVon recently celebrated one of his performances reaching over one million views.

Always willing to share updates with fans on social media, HaVon posted a picture of his performance on The Voice. He captioned the post, writing, “Wheeew! A huge THANK YOU to all my Halos! We hit 1 MILLION VIEWS on Instagram and YouTube for “Unbreak My Heart” #TheVoice! Your support means the world to me! Let’s keep shining together!”

Asher HaVon Hopes To Inspire Other Members Of The LGBTQ+ Community

Thrilled about his recent milestone, HaVon channeled Toni Braxton when he decided to perform “Unbreak My Heart” on The Voice. And at the time, fans already considered him a top talent on the show. After his victory, one person wrote, “Asher HaVon is the best thing you all have allowed to happen. It wasn’t rigged, it wasn’t his community, he can just SANG and I sure voted for that! I swore I counted 4 octaves. I am so glad he left Selma to come and sing to the rest of the World. While I await his recordings, concerts, and national anthem renditions, this video will have to do!”

Besides winning The Voice, HaVon marked the first open member of the LGBTQ+ community to win the show. Not taking the moment for granted, the singer explained to ET how he wanted nothing more than to encourage others to follow their dreams. “I am so proud to be a part of that community. I just pray that everything I have done on this show [has] inspired them all that they can do the same thing.”
