Simone Biles wins vault for her 3rd gold medal in Paris

After winning gold in the all-around team final and the woman's individual all-around, Team USA gymnast Simone Biles isn't done yet. Biles just secured her third gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics on women's vault.

Biles scored a 15.700 on her first vault and 14.900 on her second, giving her an average score of 15.300 to secure the gold medal.

With this win, that brings her Olympic gold medal count to 7 and total medal count to 10, which includes three that she won at the 2020 Olympics in Toyko. Biles has two more opportunities to increase that count, with performances on the floor and balance beam next week.
