Bayley: I Have A Lot More To Prove As WWE Women’s Champion

Bayley has more that she wants to do as the WWE Women’s Champion.

Bayley won the WWE Women’s Championship at WWE WrestleMania 40. She has reigned supreme ever since. However, she will face a tough challenger at WWE SummerSlam. There, she will defend the title against Nia Jax.

Speaking with The Comeback , Bayley shared her mindset about the bout. She stated that she had more to prove.

“I feel like I just won this title, and this, as far as on TV and PPVs, this is my third or fourth title defense, so I don’t feel I’ve done enough,” Bayley said. “And I have a lot more to prove and get done. So I wanna walk out of SummerSlam with this title.”

Bayley On WWE Women’s Tag Titles

Bayley doesn’t just want to get more done herself. Speaking on the Hall of Fame Podcast , she noted that she’d like to see the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships get solidified before any more titles are potentially added to the division.

“First, I would love to see those take off, and I would love to see the women’s tag division kind of be put on the map and be on these pay-per-views with us,” Bayley said. “I just feel like they need a little more TLC. A little more love because so women have been able to hold them, but we haven’t been able to like have that match yet where it’s like, okay, we’ve solidified the women’s tag team division. Now let’s bring in another one. But when that does happen, I believe it will, I know that it’s gonna help a lot of other women shine.”
