Vizsla's Hilarious Daycare Antics Have People Cracking Up

When we take our dogs to the groomer, the vet, or the store, we often speak to them like children. We asked them to mind their manners, be nice to others, and make good choices. Although there is much debate about whether animals can understand us, pet parents know they can.

Unfortunately, our furry friends, like human kids, don’t always heed our instructions. Even the most well-behaved Vizsla can make a misstep, as you’ll see in this hilarious video from July 26. It’s a moment that will have you in stitches.

If my rescue boy were in daycare, his report card would look similar. It’s a good thing they caught this on camera. Otherwise, it wouldn’t have been as funny to hear about. Poor Clyde (@ clyde.the.vizsla ) didn’t make the best choice when he decided to lift his leg on a fan. LOL! It’s a classic case of not knowing the old Jim Croce song (Don’t Mess Around With Jim), which warns against spitting into the wind and also applies to peeing into it. In his defense, though, another dog may have already marked their territory on this fan, and he was marking over it. It’s an instinct, after all. Hopefully, this unpleasant experience will prevent him from repeating it, but sometimes, it takes a few blunders before the lesson is learned.

    Are Vizsla’s Easy to Train?

They are! The Vizsla is a beautiful breed known for its high level of intelligence, eagerness to please, and strong work ethic. Besides basic obedience, Vizslas excel in advanced training and dog sports such as agility , obedience competitions, and hunting trials because of their intellect and athleticism. This active breed requires ample exercise and mental stimulation to prevent unwanted behaviors.

Parents understood this situation. Viewer @tracyfreesia responded, “My friend had her dog come home with a written note from daycare. ‘Ozzy can’t come back to daycare until he gets neutered. He is peeing on all the other dog’s heads and jumping incessantly.’ She put that on Facebook! I never laughed so hard in my life!” Ha! That makes this seem mild. Viewer @saltwatersoap remarked, “Our Foxhound insists on pooping in the pool! Daycare is not amused.” That’s too funny! Viewer @mary_sunshine_mertz shared, “We have a boy pug that would do the same and not even regret it - lol!” Perhaps they understand better than we think and are happy their scent is sprayed everywhere.

Although we may not always understand why our dogs make the choices they do, sometimes they can’t help their natural tendencies. Luckily, they also know how to turn on the charm, which makes it hard to be upset for so long.
