Dachshunds are incredibly adorable. Their long bodies, floppy ears, and expressive faces make them totally irresistible. Although it’s hard to imagine them being any cuter than they are, seeing them all decked out on their very own boat proves it can be done.

This video from July 27 is one animal enthusiasts will want to bookmark for days when we feel a bit blue. The cuteness contained in these quick seconds is sure to leave a smile on your face for hours.

OMG! This level of charm is off the charts! I can’t even imagine what I would do if I saw these four (@ mylesandwillows ) floating by me on a lake in Michigan, but I’d likely fall off my boat checking out this well-dressed crew. Their hats, cats-eye sunglasses, and life vests coordinate perfectly and make them look like they are straight from the pages of a stylish 50s or 60s magazine. It’s hard to understand how their parents got them to sit so nicely, but they did a sensational job! My favorite part was at the end when a ball was thrown and needed to be chased by the ship’s captain. LOL! In the blistering sun, it likely felt good to take a swim, anyway. However, the rest of the crew chose to stay on board and keep their paws dry.

    Are Dachshunds Natural Born Swimmers?

With their elongated bodies and shortened legs, Dachshunds are not generally considered natural-born water dogs . Their unique structure makes swimming more taxing than dogs bred for water activities, such as Spaniels or Retrievers. While many choose to steer clear of the water, those who enjoy it can often be taught to swim, provided they are constantly supervised. That said, just as these dogs were all wearing life vests, keeping them safe in a flotation device is essential should they get tired.

This darling crew amused people. Viewer @grossepointesnark responded, “I imagine that one of the greatest things ever to happen to a Michigan summer vacationer would be realizing that they’ve arrived at the same lake as the Myles & Willows quartet.” It would be one of my most beloved vacation memories of all time. Viewer @nursekerri remarked, “OMG, this is beyond cute! I almost had a heart attack. For a split second, I thought he was a puppy overboard. I didn’t see the ball right away.” The captain couldn’t let a cherished toy go overboard. Viewer @bunnybuniccula responded, “Hysterical!! They kept everything on and in place!! Are you kidding me?” It’s impressive.

If you plan to visit a Michigan lake this summer, you may be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of these boaters. What a day on the water it would be!
