Simone Biles’ Husband Has Glowing 9-Word Reaction To Her 7th Gold-Medal Win

Chicago Bears safety Jonathan Owens isn’t afraid to let his social media following know how proud he is of his wife Simone Biles.

Owens has been cheering her on all week at the 2024 Paris Olympics and he’s posted something supportive after every event Biles has competed in. His latest message, however, shows just how big a fan he is of his wife.

“Man I’m so proud of her!!!!!!!” Owens tweeted after Biles’ gold-medal win in vault. He followed that up moments later with a more impassioned message, stating “Just another reminder that my wife if THE S—T.”

Judges gave Biles a score of 14.900 for her Cheng vault and a 15.700 for her Yurchenko double pike. Her 15.300 average score was enough to hold off Brazil’s Rebeca Andrade, who won gold in vault at the Tokyo Games.

Biles has won three gold medals in Paris, adding her vault win to the U.S. team final victory and her all-around final win.

She also took gold in vault at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Biles joins Czechoslovakia’s Vera Caslavska as the only two women to win the vault event twice.

The 27-year-old Biles now has seven gold medals and 10 overall in her Olympic career. She has more Olympic medals than any other U.S. gymnast.
