Colors vs. neutrals are perhaps one of the all-time interiors debates. 'Texture is the secret weapon in making neutrals pop,' she explains. 'Consider plush velvet sofas, chunky knit throws, glossy ceramics, and matte walls. The interplay of different textures can create depth and intrigue, ensuring that even a neutral palette feels rich and engaging.'

'Incorporate metallics like gold, brass, and silver to add a bit of glamour and sparkle to a neutral palette,' Lichtenstein suggests. 'Neutral walls paired with gold-framed mirrors, brass light fixtures, and silver decorative trays can elevate the space to a new level of opulence.'
