    Zac Efron rushed to hospital after horrifying accident while swimming at Ibiza villa

    Zac Efron was rushed to hospital after a swimming accident in Ibiza, according to reports .

    The 36-year-old actor is said to have been taken to a hospital in Spain following an "incident in a swimming pool". A source has said he was "found inside the swimming pool by two people working at the villa who pulled him out of the water". The incident is believed to have taken place on Friday night. A representative for the actor confirmed he had been hospitalized and said it was as a "precautionary measure."

    Zac's rep confirmed later on Saturday that the High School Musical alum was in fact "fine."

    Speaking to TMZ , they described the incident as "minor" and said Zac is "recovering just fine". Zac was released from the hospital on Saturday morning.

    Zac, who has been traveling around Europe in recent months, previously got into a horrific accident which shattered his jaw. The actor had slipped on a pair of socks while running at his home, which caused him to smash his chin into a granite fountain.

    He opened up about the scary incident in a 2022 interview with Men's Health Magazine . After losing consciousness, Zac said he woke up with "his chin bone hanging off his face".

    While recovering from the injury, Zac's facial muscles got "really big" so he teamed up with a physical therapist to help. He added: " The masseters just grew. They just got really, really big." The masseter is the muscle in your face and jaw and is one of the primary muscles of chewing.

    After the accident, Zac found himself at the center of plastic surgery rumors. Speaking about the speculation, he told the magazine: " If I valued what other people thought of me to the extent that they may think I do, I definitely wouldn't be able to do this work."
