Target Is Selling a Gorgeous $25 Slip Tank Dress Similar to a Reformation Style Almost 6x the Price

Slip dresses are one of the cutest dresses to own. Whether they have spaghetti straps or thicker straps, slip dresses at any length feel like luxury and look so good. Depending on the style, you can even wear them to nicer events (like weddings). Even if you can’t, they don’t fail to make you feel chic and are a perfect option for date night. One of Target’s newest dresses is the latter and brings a cute ‘90s vibe to your wardrobe. Not to mention it looks a lot like a Reformation style that is almost six times the price.

We’re talking about the Women's Slip Mini Tank Dress by Target’s women’s apparel brand, Wild Fable. It has that classic slip fit; it’s not tight on the body and, instead, kind of glides on. The two sides of the chest area are separate with seams making two triangles on either side of the chest. It has a deep v-neck with a bow at the base of it, right in the center of the chest. There’s also a cute lace trim that adds to the overall cute, feminine flare.

Women's Slip Mini Tank Dress - Wild Fable , $25 at Target

As the name suggests, it’s a mini dress, meaning that it hits around the upper thigh area. It also has an elastic back and adjustable straps, even though the front straps are thicker. The slip dress is a “lightweight fabric” that they list as “crepe,” made from 100% rayon. This dress is currently $25 and comes in three colors: Black Polka Dots (white background and red bow), Blue/Black Floral (blue base with a black bow) and Red Pop Floral (an equal mix of pink and red with a black bow).

Even though there aren’t any reviews yet, Nicole Zindler, who runs a popular Target-shopper Instagram account called @shesattarget , posted about this slip dress and raved about it.

“These new Wild Fable dresses… are you freaking kidding me!” Zindler wrote in her caption. “Every print in these is adorable you really can’t go wrong and the details are just so good!”

The comments also seemed to be into it. One person wrote that they’re “so pretty” while another said it kind of looked like pajamas. Zindler responded that they “kinda do” but with boxer shorts being trendy in women’s fashion right now, “anything goes.” Plus considering a lot of sizes are already out of stock in different colors, this seems to be a pretty in-demand item.

Calix Dress , $148 at Reformation

As we mentioned before, this Target dress is very similar to Reformation’s Calix Dress , specifically the pattern "Last Tango," which has a red base and white flowers making it look very similar to Target’s "Red Pop Floral." It’s currently $148 and comes in four other colors. The main similarities are the design. The dress has a relaxed fit with the two sides of the chest area separated by its deep v-neck and seams under each cup. It then flows out to a short length and gives a very similar silhouette. Their straps aren’t adjustable, but Reformation’s dress is also made from a “drapey crepe fabric” (53% viscose and 47% “LENZING ECOVERO” viscose).

So overall, if you are looking for a flowy slip dress that’s a bit sexy thanks to the deep v-neck and the length, Target’s Women's Slip Mini Tank Dress is a good choice for you. And with an almost lookalike to an expensive Reformation dress, what is there to lose?
