Joe Tessitore To Start On 9/2 WWE Raw, Michael Cole Moving To SmackDown

WWE is making some changes to the commentary teams, as Joe Tessitore is coming to WWE RAW .

As previously announced, Joe Tessitore was set to join WWE this summer. The ESPN announcer then appeared alongside Michael Cole during the Countdown to WWE SummerSlam on August 3. He made it clear that he was honored to be there, as he had been a fan for a long time. Cole also announced that Tessitore would be debuting on the WWE RAW commentary team on September 2nd.

Meanwhile, Cole stated that he would be returning to WWE SmackDown.

Cole currently calls the action alongside Pat McAfee on WWE RAW. Corey Graves and Wade Barrett are the SmackDown commentary team. Beyond Tessitore’s debut and Cole’s move, further changes have not been confirmed as of this writing.
