    Spam® & Ramen Noodles: After-School Snack/Lunch/Hangover Cure

    Yes, it's very salty, but sometimes Spam® can be the ideal food. This ramen noodle soup with one or two slices of pan-fried Spam®, green onions, and a boiled egg on top is both filling and healing, depending upon the situation.

    Ingredients

    For one serving, you will need:

    • 2 cups of water
    • 1 package dried ramen noodle soup, with flavor packet (any flavor)
    • 1 egg, for boiling
    • 1 or 2 slices pan-fried Spam®
    • 1 green onion, sliced thin

    Directions

    1. Place water in a small saucepan and bring to a boil.
    2. Add egg, and let boil for about 2-3 minutes.
    3. Add ramen noodles to the boiling water with the egg, and let boil for an additional 2-3 minutes, to desired doneness.
    4. Remove egg to iced water to cool.
    5. Add seasoning packet to the noodle soup and mix well.
    6. Pour soup into bowl and top with Spam®, halved egg, and green onions.

    Adjust heat with hot sauce of choice, if desired.
