    Here's what you need to know today:

    🌞 Temperature check: Another hot summer day with temperatures in the upper 90s. The heat index will climb over 100 degrees once again. Temps will climb through the middle of the week before highs drop into the lower 90s going into the weekend.

    📅 Today in History: In 1944, the Nazis raided the “Secret Annex” in Amsterdam and sent Anne Frank and its seven other Jewish inhabitants to concentration camps. Only Anne’s father, Otto Frank, survived.

    Oklahomans are saying “bye bye birdie” as the state rolls out a new red license plate design featuring iconic landmarks, state history and colors of the original state flag . The blue and white scissortail flycatcher plate is replaced by a red background, white lettering and a blue and white star with “46” in the middle. A row of nine icons pays homage to state animals and parts of history.
