The world's fastest man will be crowned Sunday in the 100-meter final in track and field, with American sprint star and world champion Noah Lyles one of the favorites — and going for his first Olympic gold medal at Stade de France after a disappointing bronze-medal showing in the 200-meters at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

In men's and women's swimming , the thrilling 4x100-meter medley relay finals are on the docket. An Olympic champion will be crowned in men's golf when the final round concludes Sunday. The men's singles finals in tennis will also be played.
Just a week away from the closing ceremony of these Olympics, the stakes are rising with preliminary rounds and races over or nearing completion in many sports. Team USA women's basketball will face Germany for the first time in Olympics history. Medals will also be handed out in archery, badminton, cycling, equestrian, fencing, skeet shooting and table tennis.
