Indian billionaire tycoon Mukesh Ambani’s youngest son, Anant Ambani, married his longtime girlfriend early Saturday in what is being dubbed the most extravagant wedding in the world. With an estimated cost of $300 million, it’s quite obvious that the Ambanis spared no expense to make the wedding the most talked about event of this year. The guestlist featured some of the most prominent global leaders and celebrities, including former British Prime Ministers Boris Johnson and Tony Blair, Kim and Khloe Kardashian, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, American wrestler and actor John Cena, and dozens of Bollywood elites. A few lucky attendees were gifted limited edition Audemars Piguet Royal Oak watches, each estimated to be worth around $250,000.

While his father, Mukesh Ambani, who is worth $124 billion, wears a $9,000 Rolex, his son Anant, at his wedding, gifted his 25 close friends gold Audemars Piguet watches worth $250,000 each.

Big diamonds and the illustrious Ambani family go hand in hand. One cannot expect any less from the charming, bauble-clad clan of Asia’s richest man, Mukesh Ambani, worth $121 billion. Still, the youngest scion, Anant Ambani, who finally tied the knot with childhood sweetheart Radhika Merchant after a slew of extravagant celebrations not only in India but also around the Mediterranean (in a four-day cruise celebration), hit the ball out of the park with his ensemble on D-Day.

Like a true modern-day maharaja, Anant, the scion of Asia’s richest man, Mukesh Ambani, wore a turban brooch that had a dazzling $25 million, 100-carat diamond as its centerpiece.
