Miss Night and Day Episode 15 Recap & Spoilers

Miss Night and Day episode 15 aired on Saturday, August 3, 2024, on JTBC and Netflix. It follows the story of a young woman turning into a 50-year-old during the day and transforming back at night. Jung Eun-Ji plays the young woman named Lee Mi-Jin and Lee Jung-Eun essays the role of her old version, Lim Sun.

In the previous episode, Mi-Jin’s carelessness almost exposed her secret to her boyfriend Gye Ji-Ung (Choi Jin-Hyuk). However, it tampered with his relationship with his colleague, Lim Sun. Later, the latter learned about Nam Ok-Hui’s real identity and fell into her trap after the culprit kidnapped Mi-Jin’s father.

Miss Night and Day episode 15 begins with the flashback of Ok-Hui’s real name, Gong Eun-Sim (Bae Hae-Seon). It features how she killed people, stole their identities, and roamed free in the crowd. Now, she has kidnapped Mi-Jin’s father and asked her to come to his rescue alone. For context, Mi-Jin is one of the witnesses to Eun-Sim’s last murder.

What happens in Miss Night and Day Episode 15?

In Miss Night and Day episode 15, Mi-Jin arrives at a secluded place to save her father. Eun-Sim hits her head and leaves her unconscious. Meanwhile, Ji-Ung learns that Mi-Jin is in danger and rushes to the location, informing the police.

Upon arriving, Ji-Ung finds the place empty, with a phone and blood stains on the floor. After consulting with the cops, he learns that Eun-Sim kidnapped Mi-Jin’s father, who has now been rescued. On the other side, Mi-Jin wakes up and finds herself in a hostage situation with Eun-Sim intensely staring at her. Mi-Jin asks her if Eun-Sim killed her aunt, who went missing ages ago. The culprit manipulates her words and blames Mi-Jin’s family for not desperately searching for the missing.

While Eun-Sim is busy filling a hypodermic syringe with a drug, Mi-Jin manages to set herself free and runs away from the place. Eun-Sim follows her with an axe. Soon Ji-Ung arrives at the location, understands the situation, and follows the trail.

Did Choi Jin-Hyuk witness Jung Eun-Ji transforming into Lee Jung-Eun?

When Eun-Sim slowly catches up to Mi-Jin, the latter tries to inject the stolen drug into the culprit. However, she falls, and Eun-Sim grabs the opportunity to hit her with the axe. However, Eun-Sim stops because she hallucinates Mi-Jin’s aunt in her place. So, Mi-Jin rushes towards her and injects the drug. She runs away from the place.

Ji-Ung finds an unconscious Eun-Sim and informs the cops before continuing his search for his girlfriend. The prosecutor discovers a cat, who seems to insist he follows her. A few seconds before sunrise, he sees a familiar female figure walking slowly. He recognizes her and runs to Mi-Jin. The sun rises when he reaches his beloved. However, Ji-Ung is shocked when he holds her and sees Lim Sun.

The cops catch Eun-Sim and also find the remains of the people she has killed. Ji-Ung breaks down when he identifies one of them as his mother. Later, Mi-Jin’s mother also receives the news of her missing sister after 20 years. It appears she was also one of the victims.

Later, Ji-Ung visits Eun-Sim in the interrogation room. The latter triggers him while narrating how she killed his mother. The latter witnessed Eun-Sim attacking Mi-Jin’s aunt.

Miss Night and Day Episode 15 ending spoilers

Miss Night and Day episode 15 further shows Lim Sun/Mi-Jin heartbroken with her situation with Ji-Ung. She is not confident enough to face Ji-Ung and ask if he knows her secret. On the other side, the prosecutor is also devastated and tries to contact her.

Finally, the two meet outside Mi-Jin’s house. She attempts to reveal her secret, but Ji-Ung seems to know it beforehand. Surprised, Mi-Jin asks how he figured it out. He says that he witnessed the transformation when he came to rescue her. Their discussion takes a sad turn when she suggests ending their relationship. Heartbroken, the two part ways. Towards the end, Mi-Jin reveals her secret to her parents as well.
