Meghan Markle asked for an unusual gift on her birthday

Meghan Markle celebrated her 43rd birthday today on August 4.

An article in the UK's The Daily Express reveals what Meghan wished for on her previous birthday before she became royal.

Meghan's birthday wish was revealed in her old lifestyle blog known as The Tig.

In 2016, Meghan had this to say on her blog about her birthday wish,

"More surprises, more adventure, more opportunities to grow, more days filled with giggles and cheeky jokes, more delicious meals, and more inspiration. Always more inspiration."

She also made another wish in 2014,

"So for my birthday, here’s what I would like as a gift: I want you to be kind to yourself. I want you to challenge yourself. I want you to stop gossiping, to try a food that scares you, to buy a coffee for someone just because, to tell someone you love them… and then to tell yourself right back.

Meghan closed down her blog after her relationship with Prince Harry became public.
