Fans In Disbelief Over Slow-Mo Video Of Simone Biles' Historic Vault

Simone Biles just keeps on going. On Saturday, the 27-year-old won her third gold medal in the Paris Olympics after an incredible performance in the gymnastics vault final.
A testament to her sheer dominance is the fact that Biles has now amassed seven gold medals in three Olympic appearances. The best part of it all is that she isn't done yet.
The most decorated United States gymnast of all time has two more events coming up on Monday -- the balance beam final and the floor final -- which could potentially bring up her Olympic medal tally to 12.
On Saturday, Biles dominated the field yet again. She guaranteed victory for herself after flawlessly pulling off the Yurchenko double pike, which is also known as the Biles II.

Technically speaking, this insanely difficult move requires the performer to start with a round-off back handspring onto the table, followed by two backward flips that are done while in the pike position.
This might be a bit too complicated for a casual fan. Thankfully, there's a slow-mo video of Biles' trademark move going around online. After all, it's much easier to understand when you see it as opposed to simply reading about it.
The Biles II is even more majestic in slow-mo. Just ask the fans on X, formerly Twitter, who have been left in disbelief by what they just witnessed.
"She is unreal. The Queen the history creator #gold medalist Simone Biles Team USA," said a fan.
"She really is a truly one of one and you got to commemorate that whether you're from another country or not she set the standard high," read a comment.
"Mesmerizing cause like how. đźđ„" said a supporter.
"You can't appreciate the amazing skill of Simone Biles until you see her in slow motion, realize how hard it would be to do the maneuver at that speed, and then realize that she has mastered it at full speed.
"She even invents new ones no one else can touch," commented another.
As that last tweet said, Biles just continues to amaze both the fans and the gymnastics world. The Biles II, by the way, is the fifth skill to be named after her.
The Biles II, in particular, is a move that nobody else has ever pulled off in competition. Simone, though, makes it almost look routine.
