Simone Biles , the most decorated American gymnast in history, may be contemplating yet another return for the 2024 Los Angeles Olympics.

“Never say never,” Biles told reporters after winning her third gold medal of the Paris Olympics on Saturday (August 3) via the New York Post . “Next Olympics are at home. So you just never know. I am getting really old.”

Biles, 27, scored 15.30 in the women's vault final on Saturday, days after becoming the oldest gymnast in history to win the women's individual all-around final on Thursday (August 1) and first American to ever the event win twice, having previously won the all-around during her Olympic debut at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Games. The Texan also led Team USA to gold in the women's team final on Tuesday (July 30).

Biles' three gold medal victories at the 2024 Paris Games continue her Olympic redemption tour after she withdrew from most of the competition at the Tokyo Games due to "the twisties," a temporary loss of air awareness suffered by gymnasts while performing twisting elements. The 27-year-old is still scheduled to compete in the floor exercise and balance beam events, having already won 10 medals across three Olympics games, the most ever by an American gymnast.
