Taylor Swift Sends a Direct Message to 3 Female Olympic Athletes

Taylor Swift had a special message to send to three American Olympic athletes who've already won medals at the 2024 Paris Olympics .

The singer surprised fans by narrating a new promotional video for the Olympics featuring gymnast Simone Biles , track and field athlete Sha'Carri Richardson and swimmer Katie Ledecky .

In the video, Swift's song "Style" played over clips of the athletes competing in their sports, with the "Fortnight" singer saying, "Never be afraid to show them who you are...especially when the whole world is watching."

"Because there's no one way to be the best. No one way to inspire everyone else who will someday follow," Swift continued. "You do what you love, love what you do. You believe in your style, whatever it is."

The clip finished with Swift saying, "Katie, Sha'Carri, Simone. Three American stars. Three different visions of greatness. Tonight, in Paris."

Fans were thrilled to see Swift partnering with the Olympics for the inspiring video, with comments like, "HOW I LOVE BEING A WOMAN 🥰," "this mother convention in one video 🙂‍↕️," and "AND NOW IM CRYING!!!!!! GO QUEENS!!!!"

"I am loving all the team USA Taylor collaborations," said another, while a similar comment read, "women’s athletics x taylor swift is simply just a merger of my hyperfixations."

One fan seemed quite jealous of the athletes getting such a shoutout from Swift, writing, "I can't decide which I would value more, an olympic gold medal or a video of myself kicking a-- with taylor narrating about how cool I am."

While Swift is still performing shows for her Eras Tour , Biles, Richardson and Ledecky have already made their mark at the Olympics.

As of writing, Biles has won three gold medals at the Paris Olympics, becoming the most decorated American gymnast in history. Ledecky has won two gold, one silver and one bronze at the 2024 event, tying with Larisa Latynina to be the Olympian with the most gold medals in any sport. As for Richardson, she earned a silver medal on Aug. 3.
