Gymnast Sunisa "Suni" Lee earned another podium finish 2024 Paris Olympics during the individual uneven bars finals on August 4. After being told she may never compete again after being diagnosed with two rare kidney diseases last year, Lee not only returned to gymnastics, she racked up a third Olympic medal in Paris.

Lee, the only Team USA gymnast to qualify for the uneven bars final, performed beautifully on her signature event. With a 14.800 score, she won bronze behind silver medalist China's Qiu Qiyuan (15.500), while Algeria's Kaylia Nemour clinched gold with a 15.700.

Lee's third-place finish comes after she won gold with Team USA and bronze in the all-around final. While Lee celebrated her latest achievement, The Olympics Games' official X account gave the 21-year-old gymnast a new nickname inspired by LeBron James.

"Sunisa LeeBron," the account posted, which quickly racked up thousands of likes. Comparing Lee to the James, the G.O.A.T. of men's basketball, is the ultimate compliment. One fan posted , "Whoever captioned this photo deserves a raise."

Lee, who won the all-around gold at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, also earned bronze on the uneven bars during those international games. However, Lee was never happy with how she performed on the apparatus in Tokyo, and told reporters the bronze in Paris "was so much more meaningful."

"I told myself I was coming back to redeem myself on bars," she continued. "And that's what I did this time... I'm really proud of myself. This time around has just been so much more amazing."

Lee can add one more medal to her collection in Paris. Along with Biles, she qualified to compete in the individual balance beam final on August 5.
