Pet parents often go above and beyond to ensure their dog’s happiness. Not only do we buy them healthy food, but we also provide ample bedding, toys, and treats. We even postpone international travel and opt for holidays where they can accompany us.

Fortunately, making these adjustments is easy, as caring for our four-legged friends brings immense joy. Watch this July 30 video to see how this family’s dynamics have changed with dogs.

These beautiful Pit Bull rescues might have gotten off to a rough start, but they are living the dream now! Harvey and Azula’s (@ harveytherescue ) parents have made changes to give their pups the life they deserve. Given that Harvey recently underwent chemotherapy and has been declared cancer-free, it’s easy to understand why they want to make sure all their days are filled with nothing but happiness.

Fur Parents 7 Over-The-Tops Things They’ve Done For Their Dogs

    1. They took a 15-hour road trip . They wanted their pups could breathe in fresh mountain air and swim in cool, clean water. Just seeing how happy they were must’ve made the drive worthwhile.

    2. They moved to a house with fencing around the front. This prevents their reactive dogs from getting worked up anytime someone passes by. As a pet parent who deals with this often, that’s a terrific idea!

    3. They upgraded their vehicle to a more roomy model to ensure their comfort. This must have come in handy with their recent mountain adventure.

    4. When it’s time for meals, they also prepare a plate for their dogs, which they love! Who doesn’t want to start the day with scrambled eggs and fresh fruit?

    5. These doting parents even gave up going to their gym. They've opted for workouts at home to help manage the stress of separation anxiety . This is a big sacrifice, which most parents can attest to, as working out with our pups is no simple task.

    6. They also made sure their four-legged kids were guests at their wedding. Having these sweethearts by their side on their big day was undoubtedly the best gift of all.

    7. These charming rescues even have a designated playroom to wrestle and romp around in their new home . As a bonus, this also helps to ensure mom and dad’s most prize possessions remain free from harm.

Overall, these modifications seem reasonable. I once put a twin-size bed at the bottom of our king-sized bed to ensure my father’s Rottweiler, who stayed over regularly, and my own would have plenty of space to stretch out comfortably.

Our dogs’ loyalty, companionship, and constant affection make it easy to go out of our way for them. After all, they are always grateful for whatever they receive.
