Mid-century modern furniture is so versatile and fits a ton of different people’s styles and personalities. It’s a nice clean look you can add to your home to really make it feel more stylish. And with Aldi’s upcoming August Aldi Finds , you can buy a trendy accent cabinet that is pretty and sleek. Plus it looks similar to styles from higher-end brands like World Market and Wayfair that are six times the price.

From August 7-13, Aldi will sell the SOHL Furniture Accent Cabinet for $69.99. It has a popular design that fits in with that mid-century modern look: it has a large rectangular main cabinet with rattan (mesh-like) doors that are slightly see-through and wooden legs that angle out. It measures 31.49 inches long by 13.77 inches wide by 31 inches tall and “enhances the look of your living space.”

This cabinet is also nice because it has an “adjustable shelf for extra storage,” meaning you can change where the middle shelf goes, to give you either more space on the bottom or the top. It only comes in white, it seems, and has a black handle with light-colored wooden legs. According to Aldi Reviewer , Aldi sold these accent cabinets back in January of this year and people seemed to really like it (as this TikTok shows). The main difference this time around is that this SOHL Furniture cabinet is twice the width.

    World Market

As we mentioned up top, this Aldi cabinet looks a lot like World Market’s Rayna White Faux Rattan Stackable Storage Cabinet , which is currently on sale for $343.99 (it was originally $429.99). Instead of just one shelf (creating two spaces in the cabinet), this one has two adjustable shelves. It’s also taller, measuring 28 inches wide by 15.75 inches deep by 37.75 inches tall. The legs are straight, not angled, and match the white color of the rest of the cabinet. But this does have poly-rattan doors, so it visually matches Aldi’s a lot.

Laginess Accent by George Oliver , $319.99 on Wayfair

    Wayfair

Another similar cabinet is the Laginess Accent by George Oliver on Wayfair. It’s currently $319.99 and is basically the same size as the Aldi cabinet, just a few inches taller. It matches the shape of the Aldi cabinet too with slightly angled white legs. Similarly, it has one shelf. However, the main difference is the fact that it has solid wood doors.

Latish Accent Cabinet by Bay Isle Home , $155.99 on Wayfair

    Wayfair

Unlike that Wayfair cabinet, though, the Latish Accent Cabinet by Bay Isle Home does have rattan doors. It is $155.99 and has a similar design to Aldi’s cabinet along with angled legs. It’s also nearly the same size as Aldi’s and has one shelf. However, it has gold hardware and the rattan doors are tan while the rest of the cabinet is white.

So if you are looking for a mid-century modern or trendy-looking cabinet, Aldi’s SOHL Furniture Accent Cabinet is a decent choice to spruce up your living room or dining room.
