Fan That Gifted Bracelet To CM Punk Requests Compensation After It Became Part Of Storyline

One of WWE’s most captivating stories in many years is CM Punk and Drew McIntyre’s rivalry, which resulted in what is anticipated to be the first of many matches taking place at SummerSlam. And while it initially seemed to be only a tiny part of the feud, CM Punk’s bracelet, which has the name of his wife and dog on it, has become a key component of the angle.

However, it turns out that the bracelet wasn’t something WWE created for the storyline but was a genuine gift from a fan, and they have now made it known via X they are seeking some type of compensation “ for contributing to the savage moment of the summer. ”

From a legal perspective, it seems doubtful the fan has any right to recompense, considering they seemingly gifted the bracelet to Punk during a meet and greet. Still, given that it has been heavily featured on television, it would likely be good publicity for the company or even just a nice gesture by Punk himself if they were to send some free merchandise or arrange complimentary tickets.
