Corrections and clarifications

• An article incorrectly said, due to an editing error, that John Redwood and Michael Howard attended an event at the Army and Navy Club in London to mark the Bruges Group’s 35th anniversary ( I went in search of the Tories’ soul. All I found was Farage , 16 July, Journal, p1).

• The cost of security for the Paris Olympics is estimated at around $300m, not $3m as this column mistakenly said ( 3 August, Journal, p7 ) when seeking to correct an article that had shown a figure of $300,000.This error was in print only.
