American Noah Lyles became the world’s fastest man on Sunday and made sure to celebrate the gold medal moment with his girlfriend Junelle Bromfield, in a loving moment captured on sprinting’s biggest stage.
The photo showed Lyles and Bromfield, who is an Olympian for Jamacia and has been coupled with the sprinter since 2022, embracing after Lyles won gold by defeating Jamaica’s Kishane Thompson by .005 seconds in the 100-meters at the Paris Olympics on Sunday.

Additionally, she shared several posts on her story, showing a video of her and Lyles hugging after the race.
The two have had a unique love story that began well before 2022, actually going on their first date in 2017 after meeting through social media, People reported.
The two did not have the best first date and instead remained friends until they gave love another go five years later.
“We’re going to grow old together and it’s going to be forever,” Lyles told “Fast Lane Lifestyle” podcast.
The pair have become inseparable at this point and they even trained together for this year’s summer games in Paris.

“My girlfriend’s on [a] team as well, so we are training together and we’re competing most of the same day,” Lyles told Us Weekly in July. “We have that mental space to be able to share with each other and continuously feed to each other.”
