    When does Noah Lyles race next? When 100m gold medalist will run for second gold

    After winning one of the closest 100-meter dash finals of all-time, Noah Lyles ' journey to three gold medals at the 2024 Paris Olympics is still intact. But he doesn't have much time before he must risk that dream again.

    The 200-meter dash is coming up, but Lyles should feel good about his chances. Ever since taking bronze at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Lyles has been hailed as the king of the 200-meter: He has now won 17 straight major international 200-meter races dating back to the Prefontaine Classic in Eugene, Oregon in August 2021.

    The odds may be with him, but he'll certainly be faced with an immense challenge. Here's when Lyles will run in Paris again:

    When is Noah Lyles' next race?

    Heats for the 200-meter dash start Monday, Aug. 5, at 1:55 p.m. ET. The semifinals for the event will take place on Wednesday at 2:02 p.m. ET. The men's 200-meter finals are set for Thursday at 2:30 p.m. ET.

    What other races will Lyles compete in?

    Prior to the 200-meter finals, Lyles will compete in the first round of the 4x100-meter relay. The first round is set for the morning of Thursday at 5:35 a.m. ET. The finals for that event are scheduled for 1:47 p.m. ET on Friday.
